Job Description

Behavior Technician Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with skill acquisition programs, including communication, social skills, and daily living skills
  • Support clients in community-based settings, such as schools or homes
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify behavior plans as needed
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or related developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients and their families
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately
  • Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and professional development
