Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) BrightSteps ABA Atlanta, GA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Teamwork High school diploma or GED Experience working with children Full Job Description Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) BrightSteps ABA is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team and provide individualized ABA therapy to children with autism and other developmental disabilities throughout Georgia. As an RBT, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help clients develop communication, social, academic, and daily living skills while implementing individualized treatment plans and collecting data to track progress. What You'll Do Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home or clinic-based settings , depending on client needs. Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Teach communication, social, daily living, academic, and other functional skills using ABA-based strategies. Implement strategies to decrease challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, self-injurious behavior, and non-compliance. Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and document client progress. Build positive and supportive relationships with clients and their families. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and feedback from the BCBA. Follow treatment protocols and clinical recommendations provided by the supervising BCBA. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and professional ethical standards. Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, caregivers, and members of the clinical team. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required. Previous experience working with children, individuals with autism, or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Experience in ABA, behavior intervention, teaching, childcare, caregiving, or a related field is a plus. Knowledge of basic ABA principles and behavior intervention strategies is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and instructions. Ability to accurately collect and document data. CPR/First Aid certification is required. Experience with electronic data collection systems such as CentralReach or Rethink is a plus. Schedule & Work Environment Services are provided primarily in clients' homes or at a BrightSteps ABA clinic , depending on the client's treatment plan and service needs. Travel to client locations is required for home-based cases. Flexible availability is preferred, including weekday afternoons/evenings and occasional weekends, depending on client needs. Ability to work independently while receiving ongoing support and supervision from a BCBA. Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout sessions and assist clients with activities as needed. Why Join BrightSteps ABA?
