Job Description

Rainbow Steps ABA is now hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)/ ABA Therapist. Rainbow Steps ABA, a leading provider of ABA services, is dedicated to offering the highest quality care to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities. The Behavior Technician will implement skill acquisition protocols and behavior reduction programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. Individuals should enjoy being around children, be energetic, enthusiastic, capable of managing active children, outgoing, dependable, organized, have a positive attitude, team-oriented and excel in communicating effectively with others. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, have experience working with children, and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for the position of Behavior Technician. Join our team and help us provide quality care and support to those in need. Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to: Directly engage with the patient while implementing a blend of intensive teaching and natural environment training. Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Adhere to and document the execution of prescribed toilet training protocols. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior. Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols. Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients. Maintain client confidentiality. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. Collaborate with the treatment team including the client, parents, other caregivers, and providers. Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training. Qualifications and Skills
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
Also accepted:
High School Diploma with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of experience working with children (0-16 years old) in a 1:1 setting or in a classroom, implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

Opportunity to increase from the starting 27$ hourly rate to $30 after 3 months, based on performance. Reimbursement for RBT certification renewal fee.
