Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is crucial in supporting the development of essential skills and promoting positive behavior changes in our clients. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Conduct direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed. Document client progress and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and guidance related to behavior management techniques. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in special education and behavior analysis. Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and principles is highly desirable. Knowledge of behavior management strategies and special education practices. Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively document progress and collaborate with team members.
