Job Description

Are you currently taking classes in Psychology or Education? Want to work in a growing field and change the lives of children? Consider becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! An RBT works directly with children diagnosed with autism to teach them new skills, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). More importantly, RBTs have fun with their clients! There is never a mundane moment and you should look forward to going to work every day, just as much as the child looks forward to seeing you! We are currently looking for an RBT for our in-home clients in College Park, GA! Applicant must be able to work 10am-5pm. For this specific position, the commute is the same every day. Provide direct ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, behavior disorders, or other developmental disabilities in 1:1 or group settings. Effectively communicate with caregivers about child's progress as instructed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Work effectively as a member of a team. Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team including the client, caregivers, outside professionals, Lead RBT, supervising BCBA, and other therapists. Must be able to follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction plan. Must be able to record accurate data via documenting either on data sheets or in provided data collection software. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings. Qualifications for
ABA Therapist:
ABA experience is strongly preferred. High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in special education, early childhood education, speech/language disorders, psychology or related field preferred. RBT Certification required. CPR/BLS certificate or willingness to acquire certificate. Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum preferred.
