Avita Community Partners is currently recruiting for a BCBA to manage an Adult Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) crisis wing in our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC). The BHCC offers services 24/7, which includes crisis walk-in, 23 hour observation, and crisis stabilization. Position will be 28 hrs. per week with 8 hrs. flexible (on site or remote), no productivity standard to meet (i.e., no minimum billing hrs. required weekly). Experience working with adults, working with individuals with challenging behavior, and/or writing behavior plans is recommended, but not required. GA state licensure (Licensed Behavior Analyst - LBA) is required by 4/1/2026.
General job duties include:
Creating and monitoring Behavioral Support Plans Creating and monitoring Safety Plans Initial Assessments Functional Behavior Assessments D/C Planning Treatment Team Meetings Supervising RBT staff Family Training Analyzing data Agency peer to peer consultation and agency training available.
