Job Description

Golden Care Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental delays in home and/or center settings. In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs, collect accurate behavior and skill data, and follow behavior intervention plans to support meaningful progress. You will collaborate closely with families and a supportive clinical team, receive ongoing training and supervision, and benefit from flexible scheduling in a mission-driven, child-focused environment. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 in-home or center-based ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental delays. Implement individualized treatment plans designed by BCBAs with fidelity. Collect accurate, ongoing behavioral and skill acquisition data during sessions. Follow behavior intervention plans to reduce challenging behaviors safely and effectively. Communicate session progress and observations to supervising BCBAs and families. Complete timely and accurate session notes and required documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to adjust interventions based on data and goals. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings to enhance clinical skills. Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Behavior data collection and charting Behavior intervention plan implementation Use of reinforcement strategies Prompting and fading techniques De-escalation and behavior management Session note documentation (EMR or similar) Collaboration with BCBAs and clinical teams Parent/caregiver training support
