The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities and autism. This role is essential in providing support and education to clients and their families, helping them achieve their goals through effective behavioral interventions. Responsibilities Implement behavior management strategies as outlined in care plans. Assist in the development and modification of care plans based on client progress. Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting client interactions and progress. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, providing support tailored to their unique needs. Conduct behavioral therapy sessions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Collaborate with other professionals in special education settings to promote effective learning environments. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and the implementation of care plans is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance is an asset. Experience in behavioral therapy or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
