Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients during structured teaching activities focused on communication, social skills, and behavior management. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to update on progress and provide guidance on behavior management strategies. Adhere to all ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and implementation of ABA therapy protocols. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence across various settings, including home and school environments. Proficiency in behavioral data collection, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records. Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times. Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored to individuals with disabilities or behavioral challenges. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards related to medical documentation and client records.
