Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a vibrant school environment. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, working 35 hours weekly. You'll thrive in a GNETS classroom setting, providing essential one-on-one support to a student with behavioral needs. Your expertise will help create a positive, structured learning experience and make a lasting difference in a student's life.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience in school or educational settings highly desirable Strength in implementing behavior intervention plans and data collection Demonstrated skill in working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors, including aggression Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset essential for success Confident communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral support to a student within a GNETS classroom Assist with de-escalating behaviors and safely manage aggression using approved strategies Implement individualized behavior plans under supervision of clinical and educational staff Track progress and document behavioral data with attention to detail Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and support teams Foster a supportive, inclusive environment respectful of each learner's needs This contract role is a fantastic chance to apply your behavior expertise, build professional relationships, and help shape positive outcomes for students.
