Our focus is on delivering personalized care that prioritizes each individual's needs across various settings, including centers, homes, and community environments. Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting their growth and development. This is a paid position designed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while fostering your professional growth in behavioral health. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and other self-care routines Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Support clients during teaching sessions by utilizing behavioral management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies Collaborate with supervising clinicians to develop or modify care plans tailored to each individual's needs Help create a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning, independence, and social interaction Maintain confidentiality of all medical records and client information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, special education, or working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong interest in working with individuals with autism and a passion for helping others grow and succeed Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement behavior plans consistently Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and team members Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and data collection methods is a plus Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role Must be able to work flexible hours including afternoons or evenings as needed Join our team to make a lasting impact!
