Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans. Prior experience with children and familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) are highly valued. The RBT will be responsible for executing behavior management strategies, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their developmental goals within a supportive team environment. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and feeding to promote independence. Collect accurate data on client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support clients during teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies tailored to individual needs. Help manage behaviors through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Maintain detailed and confidential medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans aligned with client goals. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and promoting positive behavioral health practices. Educate family members and caregivers on behavior strategies and progress updates as needed. Requirements Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and behavioral therapy techniques. Familiarity with assisting clients with ADLs and implementing individualized teaching strategies. Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Understanding of medical terminology, care plans, and HIPAA compliance related to behavioral health services. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while demonstrating patience, compassion, and professionalism. Prior experience in special education or patient care settings is preferred but not required. $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
