Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support clients in achieving their goals, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions based on individualized care plans aligned with ABA principles for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), social skills, communication, and behavior management strategies to promote independence Collect and record precise behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols consistently while adhering to ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop and update client care plans tailored to each individual's needs Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and integrity of client information Support clients in various settings including home-based environments, school settings, or community locations to maximize generalization of skills Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting clients through behavior health interventions Ability to collect detailed behavioral data accurately and analyze trends over time Excellent client communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive medical information Home-based behavioral experience or school experience is highly desirable Commitment to ethical practices aligned with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication transforms lives! From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 20.0 per week
