Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with autism and provide support in implementing behavior therapy interventions. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families.
Duties:
  • Work directly with individuals with autism to implement behavior therapy interventions
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure consistent and effective care
  • Provide support during therapy sessions, including prompting, reinforcement, and data collection
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records
  • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards, including HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or individuals with autism is preferred
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data on client progress
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • A passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the field of behavioral health
  • Ability to provide patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner
