$45.00 per hour Job description: Kailua-Windward Complex Area!!! About Us At Emergent Learning Hawaii, we are professional, innovative, and supportive. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with at least three years of experience, particularly in managing severe problem behavior across diverse populations integrating the PEAK curriculum at a mastery level and more (we will train you!). As an esteemed team member, you'll be instrumental in implementing our evidence-based behavioral interventions, developed and overseen by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising BCBA Collect and analyze data on the client's skill progress and behavior change as per BCBA directives Assist in the assessment of the client's skills and behavior per BCBA Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment Utilize evidence-based curriculums, including PEAK, AIM, and LIFE (training provided) Attend team meetings and training sessions as required Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care Prepare materials and maintain equipment needed for therapy sessions Maintain accurate and timely records, documenting services provided Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the BACB Ensure all services adhere to ethical guidelines, school policies, and state regulations Follow directives in collaboration with DOE that may include many changes and any student in need of service regardless of age, abilities, and presentation Demonstrate strong situational awareness and rapid implementation of approved intervention strategies for clients with elevated or high-risk behavioral needs Participate in applied or practice-based research during work hours as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Higher-level education in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field Currently enrolled in a Master's program related to the field Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in good standing A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children or adults with autism or similar disorders, with references to support as an RBT Proven expertise in managing severe problem behavior Active use of Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) strategies that include Advanced QBS Preferred history using the PEAK curriculum, AIM curriculum, and interest in practice-based research Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Physical ability to engage with clients in a variety of activities Ability to pass a state and federal background check

Willing to engage in higher-level learning opportunities for the clientele Ability to work various shifts Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Interest in practice-based research and data-driven clinical advancement
