Job Overview Join our vibrant winery team as a Winery Staff member and become a vital part of crafting exceptional wines and beverages! In this energetic role, you will be involved in various aspects of wine production, packaging, sanitation, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities Assist with the sanitation and cleaning of production areas, equipment, and packaging lines following HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards Support the winemaking process, including ingredient handling, fermentation monitoring, and quality checks for wine production Operate pallet jacks to safely to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies Participate in packaging operations such as bottling, labeling, capping, and palletizing finished products efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and production spaces to ensure food safety compliance Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment for mechanical issues; assist with basic troubleshooting when needed Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and warehouse operations to uphold industry standards Conduct engaging wine tastings and provide guests with information about wines and the winemaking process Manage and schedule customer reservations and tasting appointments Assist customers with wine selections, purchases, and personalized recommendations Maintain knowledge of current wine selections, pricing, and tasting offerings Provide an exceptional guest experience while representing the winery in a professional and welcoming manner Assist with closing duties, restocking, and general upkeep of the tasting room Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment Demonstrate organizational skills and safety awareness Passion for wine production and serving Strong commitment to food safety practices and maintaining high cleanliness standards Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your skills make a difference!
