Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions in various settings, including home-based environments and schools Support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities through engaging teaching strategies and behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates on progress and reinforce strategies for generalization of skills Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education practices is essential Experience working in home-based behavioral settings or school environments is advantageous Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards is beneficial Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols accurately and ethically in accordance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Proven skills in client communication, data collection, and behavior support for individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other neurodevelopmental disorders Commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral health practices and adherence to confidentiality standards such as HIPAA Join us in transforming lives through compassionate care and innovative behavioral interventions.
