Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with autism and other behavioral challenges, providing support through behavioral therapy techniques. Your primary focus will be on implementing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, and maintaining accurate medical documentation to ensure the highest quality of care. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate progress and adapt strategies as needed. Provide direct patient care while fostering a supportive and encouraging environment. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes. Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Stay informed about medical terminology and best practices in behavioral health. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is preferred. Knowledge of medical records management and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with patient care protocols and behavioral therapy techniques. Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes related to behavioral health. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
