Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will work closely with clients, families, and a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, focusing on skill development and behavior management Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates, support, and guidance on behavior management strategies Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality Support the development of individualized care plans by contributing observations and data to the supervising BCBA Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, ethical standards, and best practices for working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders Skills Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Strong ability to collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately and efficiently Compassionate approach to assisting with ADLs and supporting client independence Familiarity with medical records management, medical terminology, and healthcare privacy standards such as HIPAA Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients' families, caregivers, and team members Ability to follow detailed care plans while adhering to professional ethical guidelines outlined in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts This position is paid and ideal for motivated individuals eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through direct behavioral health services.
