Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral interventions. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized behavior plans and support their growth and independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene, promoting independence and self-care skills. Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to reduce challenging behaviors and teach new skills. Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency across environments. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide updates on progress and collaborate on care strategies. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards. Adhere strictly to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy services. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, behavioral management techniques, and ABA therapy protocols. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' functional independence. Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral data collection and medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent client communication skills with a patient-centered approach tailored to diverse needs. Previous home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
