For Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT): Active certification with a listed supervisor required For Behavior Interventionists (BI): Bachelors degree in a human services field, or minimum of 24 qualifying semester credits BI candidates must also have 1,040 hours of behavioral field experience Completion of Intervention Specialists Competency checklist OR certificate showing 40 hours of applied behavior analysis training Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset Ability to adjust support based on student needs and school requirements

Responsibilities Include:

Providing direct support and behavior interventions to students individually or in groups Implementing and documenting individualized plans under supervision Collaborating with educational staff, supervisors, and families to enhance each students learning environment Tracking and communicating progress to ensure consistent forward movement Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all applicable regulations
