Job Description
You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients. Job Summary Our client is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst responsible for managing a small caseload with a focus on quality and compassionate care. This role involves performing clinical tasks, supervising Registered Behavior Technicians, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and handling staff management duties. Key Responsibilities Manage a small caseload with low billable expectations. Perform initial assessments of clients and develop individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs. Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians, providing mentorship and observing sessions regularly. Collaborate daily with various therapy professionals and hold monthly caregiver meetings. Manage staff performance including giving verbal warnings and collaborating on formal evaluations. Qualifications Active BCBA Certification and compliance with IDFPR for LBA compliance. Master's Degree in a related field. Experience with pediatric populations, specifically small children (toddlers to 7 years). Practicum Supervision eligibility (1+ year of BCBA certification and completed internal competency assessment). Experience working within a multidisciplinary, assent-based, or child-led therapy model. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
