Our team provides comprehensive services including psychology and behavioral services, diagnostic testing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, ABA/autism services, social work, and other specialized pediatric therapies. Our mission is to support children's development and empower families through comprehensive programs that promote functional independence and well-being. We are seeking a dedicated Neuropsychological Testing Assistant to join our team. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the assessment and support of children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral needs. The role involves assisting clinicians in administering neuropsychological tests, collecting data, and supporting patient care within a compassionate and professional environment. The ideal candidate has prior experience with psychological testing administration, scoring, interpretation support, and report writing and is interested in expanding their assessment experience with children and adolescents. Duties Assist licensed neuropsychologists in administering standardized neuropsychological assessments to children and adolescents. Prepare testing materials, set up testing environments, and ensure all equipment functions correctly. Collect, record, and organize data accurately during testing sessions while maintaining patient confidentiality. Support clinicians with documentation of test results, medical records, and electronic health records (EHR) management in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Observe and document behavioral responses during assessments, noting any behavioral or emotional concerns such as anxiety or agitation. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized testing environment adhering to health and safety protocols. Engage with children using appropriate communication techniques to facilitate cooperation during assessments. Qualifications Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Knowledge of medical terminology, behavioral health concepts, and clinical assessment procedures. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation standards including HIPAA compliance. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and clinical staff. Preferred Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a PhD or PsyD program Prior experience conducting pediatric assessments Experience with developmental, cognitive, academic, behavioral, or autism assessments Experience working with children with developmental or behavioral differences Interest in pursuing a career involving pediatric psychology, neuropsychology, or psychological assessment Our collaborative environment allows clinicians and trainees to see the child as a whole and work alongside professionals from multiple disciplines.
