Overview Join the Leap Behavior Therapy team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! As an RBT, you'll work side-by-side with our BCBAs to bring individualized ABA treatment plans to life—helping kids build skills, confidence, and independence one small "leap" at a time. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA strategies, under BCBA guidance, to help kids build new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Support clients with daily living skills such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines in a patient, encouraging way. Collect accurate data during sessions to track progress and help guide ongoing treatment planning. Use reinforcement, visuals, and engaging teaching strategies to support clients during learning activities. Work closely with families, caregivers, and our team to keep everyone on the same page and support consistency across environments. Participate in ongoing training to build your skills in ABA, behavior management, documentation, and clinical best practices. Provide input during team discussions as we develop and adjust individualized treatment plans. Help create a fun, positive, and supportive environment that encourages each child's social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or current RBT certification (preferred but not required). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred but not required). Basic understanding of ABA principles, behavior management, and supportive teaching strategies (preferred but not required—training provided). Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate records. Familiarity with HIPAA and the importance of protecting client confidentiality (training available). Clear, positive communication skills for collaborating with families and team members. Patience, empathy, enthusiasm, and a team-first mindset.

Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
