Job Description

Job Summary Five Star Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home and in-clinic ABA therapy in Northbrook, Illinois. This is a part-time position with a consistent schedule , ideal for an RBT looking to supplement weekday hours. The RBT will implement individualized treatment programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities Implement ABA treatment programs as designed by the supervising BCBA. Provide 1:1 intervention in the client's home to build communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills. Collect accurate, real-time data on all targeted skills and behaviors using company software. Assist in generalization of skills across home, community, and family settings. Implement behavior-reduction plans using evidence-based strategies. Maintain a proactive, supportive, and therapeutic environment for each client. Participate in ongoing supervision sessions with the BCBA. Provide clear summaries of session progress and relevant observations. Collaborate professionally with caregivers to support consistency across environments. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company policies. Arrive on time, maintain professionalism, and uphold company standards. Participate in required trainings, team meetings, and professional development activities. Uphold BACB ethics guidelines and Five Star Pediatric Therapy's mission and values. Ensure the client's safety and dignity are prioritized during every session. Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience with pediatric clients preferred Reliable transportation to in-home sessions Strong communication and professionalism Ability to work independently while following clinical direction Skills Experience with behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA). Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to behavior management effectively. Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to support learning and growth. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
