Job Description
Join Our Team! Are you a Board Certified Behavior Analyst interested in practicing ABA outside of a clinic setting? Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is hiring a full-time, school-based BCBA to support students and school teams in East Chicago, Indiana. As a school-based BCBA, you will provide behavioral consultation and support throughout the school day. You will conduct assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, coach staff, attend student meetings, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments and other behavioral evaluations Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans Analyze student data and make recommendations based on progress Provide consultation, coaching, and training to school staff Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district requirements Qualifications Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, education, psychology, or a related field Strong data collection and analysis skills Positive, flexible, and collaborative approach Interest in learning or familiarity with special education and school-based practices School-based BCBA experience is preferred but not required BCBAs who are new to school-based practice receive mentorship and support to help them confidently transition into the role.
