Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges. As an RBT, you will work directly with clients, implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals. Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks. Engage in teaching sessions that promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors tailored to each client's needs. Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing care plans across settings such as home, school, or community environments. Support clients during therapy sessions by managing behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. RBT certification required. Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to collect behavioral data accurately and interpret results to guide therapy plans. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family collaboration, and team coordination. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with developing or following care plans tailored for clients with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental disabilities.
