We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet their aging challenges with dignity, care, and compassion. We are seeking a DSP to join our team. In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients. 3-Days a week Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing Assist with mobility, walking Provide adjunct patient care Monitor food intake Collaborate with other healthcare professionals Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Assistance with grooming and bathing Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues Alzheimer & Dementia Care Transportation (not all clients) Qualifications Be over 18 Have a valid driver's license/ if client requires transportation Have current and continuous auto insurance (if client needs transportation) Have a dependable car that is for your primary use High school diploma/GED Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification First aid and CPR-certified Current Negative TB Results Basic computer skills Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with limited supervision Compassionate, respectful, ethicalBenefits
