Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavioral challenges. This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to clients while promoting positive behavioral changes through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately. Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual client needs. Provide direct support to children in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information. Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Collaborate with families and other professionals to support the child's development and well-being. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy. Experience Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges, is preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation practices, medical terminology, and care plan development is beneficial. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques is essential for success in this role. Experience in research data collection related to behavioral interventions is a plus. Understanding of behavior management strategies and their application in real-world scenarios will enhance effectiveness in this position.
