Job Description

Wabash Center, Inc. is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician- SOAR - RBT in Lafayette, IN. This is a full-time position. Wabash Center has a long history of serving individuals with disabilities and special needs. Our SOAR program is our newest clinical initiative designed to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder with the purpose of helping them reach their highest potential. The program emphasizes building social, communication, and life skills through 1: 1 therapy and group interactions. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) implements individualized ABA treatment plans for children enrolled in SOAR. This role works directly under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborates with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, outcome-driven therapy. RBTs:
Provide 1: 1 ABA therapy sessions based on individualized treatment plans.

Accurately implement ABA strategies, data collection, and behavior intervention plans.

Work collaboratively with the SOAR team (BCBAs, clinicians, therapists).Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and positive learning environment.

Ensure compliance with
BACB RBT
certification standards and Wabash Center policies.

Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and/or relevant work experienceMeet background check requirements Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage.$1, 500 sign-on bonus for new employee with active RBT certification at time of hire.

Schedule:
MondayFriday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM. End time can vary.
