Job Description

Heartlinks ABA IN is seeking a Register Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home and community settings. In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs, use evidence-based teaching strategies, and collect accurate behavior and skills data each session. You will collaborate closely with supervisors and families, support generalization of skills across environments, and participate in ongoing training and feedback. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home and community settings Implement treatment goals and behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs Collect accurate, real-time behavior and skills data using designated tools Follow reinforcement, prompting, and behavior reduction procedures consistently Maintain clear, timely session notes and required documentation Communicate progress and concerns to supervising BCBAs and families Participate in team meetings, trainings, and performance feedback sessions Support generalization of skills across settings and caregivers Uphold safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct standards Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Behavior data collection and charting Behavior intervention plan implementation Reinforcement and prompting procedures Crisis prevention and de-escalation Session note and documentation skills Use of ABA data collection software/apps Basic child development knowledge Collaboration with BCBAs and caregivers
