Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral therapy! As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene support in home-based or clinical settings Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Support clients in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills through engaging teaching strategies and behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in treatment approaches Follow professional and ethical guidelines outlined by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high-quality care Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and implementing ABA therapy protocols is essential Experience assisting with ADLs, data collection, medical terminology, and maintaining medical records is advantageous Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are required Ability to work effectively in home-based settings or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities Must demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and adherence to confidentiality standards under HIPAA regulations Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required.
