Job Description A Behavior Technician (BT) practices under the close, ongoing supervision of their case manager and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). BT's will also have the opportunity to receive self-paced online training, at no cost to them, to become nationally credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). An RBT credential signifies a higher level of service.
Salary:
$19.00-$25.25/hour (Behavior Technician) $21.00-$27.25/hour (Registered Behavior Technician) Wage determined by years of relevant experience.
Terms of Employment:
7-7.5 hours/day, 9 months/year Qualifications & Pauline South Intermediate are Title 1 Schools. Title 1 Paraeducators (including Behavior Technicians) must have one of the following: 1) Associate's Degree from an Accredited University 2) Minimum of 48 College Credit Hours from an Accredited University 3) Successful Completion of the Para Test available to employees hired to work 5.75+ hours/day, 5 days/week Additional Information Auburn-Washburn USD 437 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
