Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by implementing individualized care plans, collecting data, and supporting their progress through evidence-based interventions. As an RBT, you will work closely with a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to foster positive behavior change and promote skill development in a compassionate, energetic environment. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' growth and independence Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care tasks Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment planning Support teaching and skill acquisition across various developmental domains using evidence-based strategies Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update individualized care plans and behavioral goals Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA regulations while documenting client information and progress notes Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages clients' participation and motivation during therapy sessions Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Knowledge of behavioral health, behavior management techniques, and special education practices is advantageous Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and care plans enhances your ability to support clients effectively Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a lively and motivating approach Join us to empower individuals through compassionate behavioral therapy!
