Duties Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in treatment. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills. Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments, schools, or clinical settings, providing direct behavioral therapy as needed. Maintain detailed medical records, treatment notes, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards. Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to update progress and address any concerns. Ensure adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering compassionate patient care. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially on the autism spectrum. Hands-on experience implementing ABA therapy techniques and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation practices related to behavioral health. Home-based behavioral experience is highly desirable, demonstrating flexibility across different environments. Familiarity with special education settings or school-based programs supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical documentation standards, and ethical guidelines for behavior analysts. Proven ability to collect behavioral data systematically and utilize it to guide effective interventions.
