Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working full-time in an onsite school setting. This contract opportunity spans the academic year, offering the chance to help students thrive while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active RBT certification required Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a behavioral support role Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for supporting students with special needs Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and outside supervisors Detail-oriented and skilled in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will be assigned by your agency Deliver individualized behavioral interventions for assigned students as part of their education programs Collect and maintain accurate data, documenting student progress and outcomes Communicate observations and updates to the supervising BCBA and school team as appropriate Support classroom routines, reinforce positive behaviors, and assist with social skill development Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times This position offers a balance of hands-on work and professional growth within a welcoming school community.
