The BCBA will provide individualized ABA services, conduct assessments, oversee treatment programs, analyze data, supervise behavior technicians, and partner with families and professionals to support meaningful progress. Clinical Services Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), to identify skill deficits, environmental factors, and the functions of challenging behavior. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each child's strengths, needs, preferences, and family priorities. Develop, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Establish meaningful and measurable treatment goals that promote communication, social interaction, play, adaptive skills, independence, and quality of life. Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection and analysis and make timely, data-driven modifications to treatment. Ensure treatment is individualized, clinically appropriate, socially meaningful, and implemented with compassion and respect for each learner. Participate in intake assessments and assist in determining appropriate treatment recommendations and service needs. Support generalization of skills across people, environments, and routines whenever clinically appropriate. Supervision & Staff Development Provide ongoing clinical supervision, training, modeling, and feedback to behavior technicians and other members of the clinical team. Ensure treatment procedures are implemented consistently and according to each client's treatment plan. Create a supportive learning environment where staff feel comfortable asking questions, developing their clinical skills, and receiving constructive feedback. Family & Team Collaboration Develop positive, respectful relationships with parents and caregivers and actively involve families in the treatment process. Communicate client progress, treatment recommendations, and concerns clearly and respectfully with families. Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, medical providers, and other professionals when appropriate and with proper authorization. Support and advocate continuity of care and generalization of skills across the clinic, home, school, and community settings when applicable. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and objective clinical documentation and client records. Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, supervision documentation, and other required clinical documentation. Ensure services and documentation comply with applicable ethical, professional, payer, HIPAA, and Louisiana requirements. Protect client confidentiality and maintain professional standards in all interactions and documentation. Use clinical data to guide treatment decisions rather than relying solely on anecdotal observations. Qualifications & Requirements Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Current or eligible Louisiana Behavior Analyst license (LBA) as required to provide services in Louisiana. Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field. Experience providing ABA services to children with autism and/or other developmental disabilities. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to ethical and compassionate clinical practice. Experience in an ABA center-based, or school setting preferred. Why Join Joy ABA Services?
