Job Description

We're a growing name in chemical storage and distribution, handling chemical products safely, reliably, and in full compliance for our customers and partners. We're hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager to run our maintenance operations and keep our facilities, equipment, and systems running safely and efficiently. The Role As Maintenance Manager, you'll own the maintenance, repair, and reliability of equipment and infrastructure across our chemical storage and distribution facilities. You'll lead the maintenance team, run preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and make sure everything is done to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. We're looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical know-how, real leadership experience, and a background in industrial or chemical facility maintenance. What You'll Do
  • Lead, schedule, and supervise the maintenance team — technicians and contractors — across storage and distribution facilities
  • Build and run preventive and predictive maintenance programs for pumps, valves, piping, tanks, loading/unloading systems, and material handling equipment
  • Keep maintenance activities compliant with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulations governing hazardous materials and process equipment
  • Work with the Safety team on lockout/tagout, confined space entry, hot work permits, and other safety procedures during maintenance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues, directing repairs to keep downtime to a minimum
  • Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and vendor/contractor relationships to control costs and keep critical spares on hand
  • Oversee facility infrastructure — containment systems, fire suppression, ventilation, and electrical systems
  • Keep maintenance records, equipment histories, and documentation audit-ready
  • Lead root cause analysis on equipment failures and put corrective actions in place to improve reliability
  • Support capital projects, equipment installs, and facility upgrades from planning through execution
  • Make sure repairs and installations meet manufacturer specs, industry codes, and internal engineering standards
  • Train and develop maintenance staff on technical skills, safety, and best practices What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of maintenance management experience, ideally in chemical storage, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial facilities
  • Solid mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation knowledge, with hands-on experience on pumps, valves, tanks, and material handling equipment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and hazmat handling regulations as they apply to facility maintenance
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning/scheduling
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold a technical team accountable
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Able to work on-site at a chemical storage and distribution facility, with occasional exposure to warehouse and outdoor conditions Physical Requirements
  • Able to walk, stand, bend, and climb throughout warehouse, storage, and mechanical areas for extended periods
  • Able to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection, as needed
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Available to respond to maintenance emergencies outside standard working hours as needed What We Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings plan with company match
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Ongoing professional development and technical training How to Apply Send us your resume and a cover letter walking through your maintenance management experience — chemical storage, distribution, or a related industrial setting is a strong fit.
