Job Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsible for implementing individualized treatment programs designed by the BCBA, collect ongoing data and occasionally create materials needed for clients program. Ability to work and maintain a professional demeanor in high stress situations such as when treating aggressive behaviors is a must. Ability to communicate effectively and work on a team with other line techs.
Must Have:
Experience working with children. Desire to work with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Be organized and have the ability to work independently. Have a high school diploma or Bachelors degree (proof required) Be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time. Be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time. Valid drivers license. Reliable transportation. Pass a state and federal background check. Attend team meetings on Friday's in Covington, LA monthly. Safety Care trainings will be held in a central location to therapists and trainer, unless arranged otherwise. Available to work 8:00-4:00 M-W-F or T-Th. (5 days a week is preferred)
Preferred:
Work experience in ABA or RBT certificate. Safety Care Specialist. CPR up to date.
