- RBT•Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Haverhill, MA An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to make a meaningful impact working 1:1 with an adolescent client in a school setting near Athens, GA.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Demonstrated experience supporting adolescents or adults who exhibit severe behaviors or aggression
- Confidence using de-escalation strategies and safety protocols
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including credentialed supervisors
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the ongoing supervision of a BCBA
- Work closely, 1:1, with an adolescent client to address social, emotional, and behavioral goals during the school day
- Consistently monitor, record, and report student progress and behavioral data
- Apply crisis management and safety procedures as needed, using provided protective gear
- Support the school's efforts to foster a positive, inclusive educational environment
- Attend scheduled supervision meetings and participate in team collaboration
