Job Description

Position Objective:
The FLRSD is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is caring, empathetic, compassionate, and committed to each student's success, while also demonstrating a proficient understanding of compliance with the DESE standards.

The person in this role is responsible for providing support to the teachers, parents/guardians,and students with a specific responsibility and focus on the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. The primary role within this position is to service students on the assigned caseload, to conduct evaluations, participate in Team meetings, be an active participant in our Building Based Support Teams, and provide creative and thoughtful recommendations to aid in student success.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a solid knowledge of and maintains currency in Applied Behavioral Analysis, providing regular training to parents, caregivers, and staffCompletes observations of students and when necessary, a range of assessments (Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), MAS, FAST, etc) Develop data collection systems, graph data and train parents and staff in data collection and interpretation of dataDevelop appropriate Behavior Intervention Plans, Positive Behavioral Interventions, and reinforcement schedules and consistently model the implementation of the plans and suggested interventionsAttends IEP meetings for eligible students, determines the need for services based on evaluation data, and develops appropriate goals and benchmarksAttends meetings with the Director of Student Services and district BCBAs to review process, cases, and implementation of behavioral strategies Proficiency with technology, digital learning tools, and blended learning approachesEffective communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, colleagues, and administratorsCommitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practiceAbility to foster an engaging, supportive, and respectful learning environment that promotes equity and high expectations for all students
Required Qualifications:
Hold a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certificationPossession of a Masters DegreeMust pass a pre-employment criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3)
Years of ExperienceSalary & Terms of Employment:
In accordance with the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School Collective Bargaining Agreement. Employment is contingent upon job performance, program needs, and funding.
Salary Range:
$34,000 depending on education and experience FLRSD is committed to providing equal educational and employment opportunities to all individuals.
