Job Description
PART TIME BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN POSITION.
Specialized Autism Consultants is looking for part time ABA therapists to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum. We offer flexible hours and training, competitive pay, and referral bonus. Extra training will be provided for those without experience. Join our team of dedicated hard-working professionals. Applied Behavior Analysis is an effective teaching methodology for children with ASD. It is a very rewarding position in that you are helping to change the lives of both the child and their family. Job description for aBehavior Technician:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in their home and/or community
- Implement programs based on ABA principles that increase communication, self-help, social skills and play skills.
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Collect data and complete short summaries about the therapy session on an online platform
- Run educational programs using discrete trials and natural environment teaching
- The ability to use technology and provide telehealth when needed (Programs and Plans are developed by the supervising clinician.
Behavior Technician:
- Applicants must be reliable, self-motivated, flexible and committed.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Education, Psychology, ABA) and ABA experience is preferred, but not required.
