Behavior Technician (Residential)

Overview We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to join Applebury Behavior Associates. A Behavior Technician will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This is a per diem position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role after the probationary period. Applebury Behavior Associates provides 24/7 care and service statewide. This position requires travel to various locations in Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Collect data on observable client behavior. Implement treatment goals and objectives. Provide direct services alongside a team. Collaborate with clinicians to provide effective client services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data and records. Regularly maintain client confidentiality. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Proficiency in data collection and analysis. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues. Comfortable working with medical documentation and records. Certified Registered Behavioral Technician is preferred. Basic & Physical Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older. This role requires working in clinic and natural environments, sometimes involving lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs and maintaining various postures for extended periods. Must be able to assist clients who experience physical and behavioral challenges. Must be able to use a computer and/or iPad to take session notes. Must be able to satisfactorily pass background checks. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay:
