SCHOOL YEAR
2026-2027
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed by the Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Applied Behavior Analyst.

Master's degree in related field preferredMassachusetts license from appropriate state licensing board, if appropriateExperience in and/or expertise in overseeing a behavioral program, including programming, staff training, and coordinating with various staff and agencies.

Experience and knowledge of providing behavioral interventions and assessments, including expertise in creating and managing a behavioral system, behavioral intervention plans and functional behavioral assessmentsAbility to work with students having social, behavioral and/or mental health challenges, and to oversee staff working directly with students in the programOutstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and coordinate the continuing development of a behavioral program, including programming, development of behavioral system, social skills programming, staff training, and coordinating with various staff and agencies.

Provide behavioral assessments, interventions and teacher consultations for students identified with, or suspected of, having behavioral challengesCoordinate the creation and management of behavioral intervention plans and functional behavioral assessments for identified studentsProvide training for the staff in conducting functional behavioral assessments, data collection, behavior plans and other behavioral assessments and interventionsWork in coordination with building administrators, guidance counselors, teachers and parentsAs appropriate, serve as the liaison between the school and appropriate outside agenciesConfer with parents regarding the educational, social and emotional progress and needs of their children
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Ten month year; Salary to be determined (Unit A contract if certified teacher)
