Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic elementary school environment where your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) can make a real impact on young learners. We are seeking one to two dedicated RBTs for immediate placement in a K-4 setting. You'll primarily support a self-contained classroom, with opportunities to assist in inclusive programs alongside a passionate team of educators and specialists. This is a contract position ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, student-centered atmosphere. Your day will start bright and early and wrap up mid-afternoon, providing a consistent and manageable schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Active RBT certification required Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students and staff Ability to maintain accurate data collection and follow individualized behavior intervention plans Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and small group behavior interventions within a self-contained classroom Support inclusion efforts by working alongside general education staff Collect data to measure progress and help refine behavior strategies Foster student independence and social-emotional growth Participate in team meetings and collaborate on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
