Job Description
Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) The Technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the supervision of a BCBA or experienced therapists. A Technician works with clients primarily diagnosed with developmental impairments in the home and community settings, where they work on skills identified by the team (i.e., school, family, Cater 2 Kids ABA, SLP, OT, etc.). At least eighteen (18) years of age High School Diploma or Equivalent Possesses a valid driver's license and has reliable means of transportation Pass criminal background check (CORI) Completes in person interview Strong communication skills (ability to listen, and strong verbal communication) Demonstrates patience, and is able to remain neutral/ calm in crisis situations Able to work in a team environment, working toward same goal Motivated to develop professionally and learn more, is goal-driven, and has a positive attitude Enjoys working with people, particularly children, adolescents, and teens/ young adults
