Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team. We currently have part time, relief/per diem positions supporting individuals based from their family home Wellesley, Newton, Framingham, Hyde Park, Burlington (4:30pm-7:30 pm every day) This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to expand their training & experience working with the life span with Autism and challenging behaviors. Candidates will be provided with a comprehensive onboarding & training program to prepare them to pass the RBT exam. Duties Teach and support daily living and social skills through effective, evidence-based behavioral treatments. Directly support individuals with autism or developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans in their homes and the community Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions Collect and record data on individual's progress and behaviors Support and train families on behavior therapies. Collaborate with the supervising clinician or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop treatment goals and plans Assist in conducting functional behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations Provide support in teaching new skills and managing challenging behaviors Assist in administering medications Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Experience Prior experience working with individuals with profound autism or developmental disabilities and challenging behavior is preferred Ability to work effectively independently while collaborating with families and the treatment team Experience in data collection and analysis Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices Experience working with adolescents and young adults is a plus To learn more about RBTR Institute, Inc., visit our website at www.rbtrinstitute.org.
