Job Description

Empower students and staff as an onsite BCBA/Autism Specialist for the 20262027 academic year! This rewarding contract opportunity is based in Springfield, MA and involves serving four dynamic school sites within a supportive network. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to make a direct impact on students with autism, guiding teachers and paraprofessionals through effective behavioral strategies.
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification (required; provide screenshot/copy with your application) Demonstrated success in school-based BCBA or Autism Specialist roles Skilled at conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Proficient in coaching staff and supporting autism-specific classrooms Strong ability to collaborate with educational teams and families Reliable transportationtravel between four local schools is expected
What Youll Do:
Provide expert behavior consultation and direct support at four campuses Complete thorough FBAs and design individualized BIPs for students Deliver hands-on coaching and professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals Support the implementation of proactive classroom management and interventions Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate on student success plans Respond promptly to attendance and communicate proactively regarding absences
Additional Requirements:
Must pass a drug screen and background check (CORI/fingerprinting) Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential Ability to quickly complete all required onboarding steps This is a full-time, onsite contract role for the full school year (8/24/2026 6/12/2027), with interviews conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.
