Job Description Location:
Bethesda, MD 20814
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM-8:00 PM; Sunday, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM (17 hours per week)

Part-Time Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy by implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will help children build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while fostering independence and long-term success. Duties Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in accordance with individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care tasks when appropriate. Collect accurate behavioral data during each therapy session and document client progress. Support clients in home and community settings while following individualized treatment goals. Maintain accurate session notes, medical documentation, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Create a positive, engaging, and safe environment that promotes learning and independence. Follow the RBT Ethics Code and all company policies and procedures. Requirements Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience providing ABA therapy as an RBT or Behavior Technician is required. Experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and behavioral data collection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and professional documentation standards. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client sessions. Professional, dependable, patient, and compassionate demeanor. Why Join Us? Competitive hourly pay.
