Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and other self-care routines, promoting independence and confidence. Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by behavior analysts to address specific client needs. Support clients with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders through engaging teaching strategies and behavior management techniques. Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in therapy delivery and progress updates. Participate in ongoing training on ethical practices, medical terminology, and the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to uphold the highest standards of care. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence skills. Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Knowledge of behavioral health principles, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Previous home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Excellent client communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism to foster trusting relationships.
